Let's Recap My Purpose
Why I write and what I write about.
I usually put posts out on Wednesday, but yesterday in thinking about all the new subscribers here (welcome!) that have nearly doubled my readership in less than a month, and the altercation that a survivor instigated with me the other day, I got nervous, and decided it wasn’t a good day for me to try to write anything.
I thought it might be a good idea to re-state who I am and what I do for both old and new subscribers, so we’re hopefully on the same page.
For the past 5 years, since about this time in 2020, I have been investigating SRA whistleblower testimony of the occult, particularly the Luciferian Brotherhood, as that was the first occult group I was introduced to. I’m not a survivor myself, although I have been through trauma in my life that I can be perhaps more empathetic than the average human with regards to survivors of severe abuse.
Since I began writing, I’ve looked into almost 100 more SRA survivors (Satanic Ritual Abuse Survivors), time soldiers, Monarch programmed slaves, Jesuit Fathers, Satanic Templars, protectors, and hierarchy members of the occult, among others, for my own edification. In the beginning, I shared what I learned as a commitment (it’s easier to write when someone might read what you write). I didn’t actually think anybody would read it, but if 1 or 2 people did, then that was satisfying to me. I never had any inkling I would still be doing this 5 years later, I would have my own website (https://veronicaswift.blog), that I would put out up to half a million words a year in articles/essays, and compile a database of over 40K sources, wrote a book, and now have almost three thousand subscribers between Substack and my own blog. I’m in awe of the interest in this subject by non-survivors. I’m in awe of the courage of survivors to tell their difficult stories.
I use primary sources. What that means is that I read, listen to and write about the people who actually experienced whatever they experienced. I find secondary sources (people writing about those who have experienced) also useful, but my main heart goes to the survivors themselves, and what they lived through. My stance is to believe the survivors unless they are proven liars. Believing is not as easy as you might think. There’s a lot of disbelief that can crop up when you hear some of the extraordinary things they have been through. I appreciate those of you who read with an open mind.
I find that I’m navigating this 5+ year journey rather blind; the occult does not make it easy to do what I do. I appreciated this meme when I found it this morning, and I’m hoping to apply it more to my journey through learning about these difficult subjects.
